The Cellex Medical Coordination team is the link between the donor, the donation center and the transplant clinic. If you are selected as a donor, the coordinators arrange the details involving the screening examination and the subsequent stem cell donation. The coordinators are contacted if any of the parties involved, have any questions about organizational or scheduling matters like coming to the clinic, where to stay, timing, etc.

The Medical Coordination team prepares and reviews all of the necessary documents. They keep also the contact with you and offer that you can bring someone to accompany you to the donation appointment.

After the stem cell donation, donory can talk to the coordinators to learn about their patient’s health status and the option of contacting them. Meeting the patient in person might be possible after 2 years if both agree. In the first years, the patient and donor can send each other anonymous letters through the donor center.
